This is a real must have when it comes to moving digital pictures on to your pc. I was tired of lugging around clumsy card readers and thought 'what a handy gadget' and for just a few quid there is not a lot to lose! What a great little buy... it fits nicely into my camera bag so I am never without the ability to move my pics around. Seems fairly speedy in transferring from card to pc and no leads or cables to worry about.

This would have been 5 stars but for 2 little niggles.
1. It took a little longer to arrive (about 10 days)
2. It doesn't have a cover for the USB slot
Other than that, it completely does the job, it's easy to use, it works and it's mega cheap.

Bought this as it was compact and I wanted something small to go with the netbook.
Worked Ok initially - didn't really keep an eye on the speeds.
Felt a bit flimsy when plugged into a netbook and it would wobble a bit i.e. not a snug fit. But it worked.
However it's just broken - almost exactly as P Andrews review below.
When plugged in the drive shows in Windows XP but when plugging in a CF card that worked last week - it flashes but card not readable in Windows - it just hangs/times out. Unplugging the CF card gives a timeout message.

Bought this card reader as I only use CF cards and didn't need a multi card reader. It did work well when it first arrived, the build quality is poor but was not expensive so I was not supprised. However now when I insert it to my lap top it finds the reader but not the card (the card is fine as works with other readers) had aprox 3-4 months.
