This is a great piece of kit. Easier to carry than my Benbo tripod (obviously) with the assurance that those lower shutter speed shots will be OK. Well made and designed, in my view.

The Manfrotto 680B does not extend as high as i would like (i am almost 2m tall); but it does collapse into something small enough that i can put it in my suitcase.
Unlike my more sophisticated gas strut model (Manfrotto Neotec Monopod W/Safety Lock) whenever i go overseas it goes with me. Its size alone wouldn't warrant the dent in my weight allowance; the monopod is rigid when extended and the clips seem strong and able to stand up to knocks which makes it a great monopod.

Speedy service. Ordered pm standard delivery - arrived following pm. Product is excellent quality and just what I need for trip abroad (don't want to take bulkier tripod). Good news is my existing 486RC2 quick release ball head is a good fit with this too. Price was better than my usual photography supplier who were temporarily out of stock on this item - their loss. Recommend this supplier and will certainly look at them again in future.
