This item is very good and remarkably cheaply priced. For the occasional use that I shall make of it it is absolutely ideal. The delivery was fast and the service impeccable.

"Just what I hoped for..." 2010-03-31

It's actually better than I expected having read the reviews. Perfect for my med-size Canon SX200 compact and Kodak Zi8 video. Weighs virtually nothing, looks and seems a quality build. Not used yet, so just going on what my eyes tell me. Hope it works as well in practice.

In its un-extended form it's perfect for mounting on table tops, etc, for macro work or family group shots. I expect to have this with me quite a lot. The height is a little low compared to normal tripods, but if the legs are not set at full width, it's seems OK for me without too much bending down...and I'm 6ft. Oh...and the screw on mine is metal, not plastic as another reviewer mentioned.

"Cheap, but unstable and with plastic screw" 2010-02-27
By V. Trinkunas (London, UK)
This tripod cheap but you can't trust it. I bought it just because of size. I wanted to have it always with me. Realized since first time I used it - very unstable. Screw to connect camera made from plastic. I broke it on second day. Waste of money.

"It broke the second time I used it" 2010-02-14

The tripod is light and ideal for traveling BUT, it broke the second time I used it. The support is not great, a big camera will just break this tripod, it is too heavy. It is unstable too. Great price, but expensive for two uses!

Good value for money. A little on the fragile side but that makes it lighter to carry. Good to take on holiday.
