I now have two of these memory sticks, one for home and one for work. They are great value for money and do excatly what they are supposed to! It seems obvious, but it is worth noting that despite the fact these look like USB memory sticks, they are not, they are just readers!

The xD card reader has saved my sanity,
Due to camera software causing all sorts of problems with my pc, I would have to load the software to transfer pictures and then uninstall it again to get full functionality of my pc back. Now I can just pop the xD card into the usb reader and have no trouble whatsover.

This is such a time saving little gadget, no more searching for the cable to the camera, just stick the card in and plug into the computer. I like how compact it is as is only takes and xD card, other card readers may take 4 or 5 different types of card but that just makes them too bulky. If your camera takes xD cards then get this reader.

In a USB port it projects by 5.5cm.
MS Memory cards that fit in my Vaio Laptop and PSP can now fit onto other computers by sticking them in the top of the device.
It means I only need carry an adaptor the size of a USB stick. The MS card docks to the reader writer and projects by 2.2cm - not a problem for desktops but could be on small laptops or netbooks.
It allows data to be read and written to MS cards and MS adaptors for Sony M2 cards which they use in their phones (K800i).
Very useful product for myself but it does not come with a case which I had to buy.
Feels durable and unlikely to fracture.

I have recently purchased a new camera. Whilst researching cameras I really wanted a Sony Cybershot. The only thing holding me back was Sony's less than helpful stance of not using standard SD cards. I decided to go for the Sony in the end and this USB device has really helped bridge the gap - allowing me to plug the Sony Memory Duo card directly in to my laptop. Buy one!

This is a great little SD card reader if your computer doesn't have a card reader. Be aware though it only reads SD cards. If you also use other types of memory card (CompactFlash, MMC etc) then this reader cannot take them.

A great little piece of kit.
My laptop doesn't have a card reader, so this allows me to see and copy the pictures from my memory card instantly by simply plugging in to the USB port.

Fantasic item. No leads, No fuss. I was fed up finding the right camera lead for the right camera, etc, so tried this as a solution. Theres other multi card types available but all my phones and cameras are SD so this is a quick cheap solution.

This is a real must have when it comes to moving digital pictures on to your pc. I was tired of lugging around clumsy card readers and thought 'what a handy gadget' and for just a few quid there is not a lot to lose! What a great little buy... it fits nicely into my camera bag so I am never without the ability to move my pics around. Seems fairly speedy in transferring from card to pc and no leads or cables to worry about.

This would have been 5 stars but for 2 little niggles.
1. It took a little longer to arrive (about 10 days)
2. It doesn't have a cover for the USB slot
Other than that, it completely does the job, it's easy to use, it works and it's mega cheap.

Bought this as it was compact and I wanted something small to go with the netbook.
Worked Ok initially - didn't really keep an eye on the speeds.
Felt a bit flimsy when plugged into a netbook and it would wobble a bit i.e. not a snug fit. But it worked.
However it's just broken - almost exactly as P Andrews review below.
When plugged in the drive shows in Windows XP but when plugging in a CF card that worked last week - it flashes but card not readable in Windows - it just hangs/times out. Unplugging the CF card gives a timeout message.

Bought this card reader as I only use CF cards and didn't need a multi card reader. It did work well when it first arrived, the build quality is poor but was not expensive so I was not supprised. However now when I insert it to my lap top it finds the reader but not the card (the card is fine as works with other readers) had aprox 3-4 months.
