This thing should not be sold anymore as it is compatible only until Windows 2000!! Not XP, Vista or newer, and it isn't specified anywhere on the sale. Thrown out money for me.

Re Mac OS - this card reader is only suitable for 8.5.1 and OS 9.0operating system (ie the old mac OS).

Please note that this comes with drivers that do not work for Windows XP. I have returned mine to Amazon after much struggle - it simply doesn't work.
