Was looking for a tripod to grip on wheel chair for people with disabilities, the gorillapod was good but not that cheap when I saw this cheap version I thought we would try it right from opening it I knew it was worth the money very good piece of kit for the money can't find any differnce from the gorillapod pod other than the logo. holds the camera well stands as firm, also very good for easy grip if you have weak hand grip from your disability.All round a good buy and recommend it as a cheaper option.

Haven't actually used it yet, but it seems to do 'exactly what it says on the tin'. Will be using it on holdays next month probably, if not before.

This tripod is rubbish. The head works itself loose after about 30 minutes of use. So loose it eventually falls off. In the meantime your camera has crashed to the floor. Do not buy this tripod it may damage your camera. I know it is cheap but please resist.

Item is OK but for the weekend snapper more than a serious photographer. Not up to the task I had in mind. Will need one of the larger ones.

A good product for the price. It's about half the price of the genuine Joby gorillapod, but I don't really see how the Joby one is going to be twice as good. It's a sturdy tripod and very useful for getting group shots. I took mine to Les Gets and wrapped it round the top of a dining room chair to get a nice group shot. Be careful not to bend the legs round too far as the plastic is quite brittle and will crack, but that should go without saying really
All in all very useful little tripod for my Panasonic ZX1. Would and have recommended this to others.
