I bought this for my husband who had recently treated himself to a new SLR. It's a useful little gadget for taking photgraphs outdoors. We've used it mostly with the timer to allow us all to be in the photo at once without balancing the camera precariously. It was great at the beach and in the garden.

Bought this for a stadard SLR digital camera. Its ok for a table top but not sturdy enough to wrap around things when fitted with a real camera. Not for the professional and I probably would recommend it for an amateur either.
