This is a great tripod for a beginner like me. Very easy to use and be kept sturdy by hanging a heavy bag in the middle of the tripod. Also, for the price you can't go wrong!

Incredibly stable build for a cheap product.. I was quite surprised actually. Plastics are a bit cheap and have edges and burrs and there's a minor amount of play on the plastic head. If your camera is heavy the play shouldn't be an issue.. The lever that works the center column is a bit flimsy and I've been treating it very gently.. Otherwise this tripod is total value for money and I love the quick release mechanism, built-in handle on the center column and the light weight construction. The height is more than sufficient for me (5ft 7in) and at full length it's much taller than me.. I've been using it indoors so far (too cold to go out yet) and am yet to take it through it's paces in windy conditions.

I purchased a cheap tripod previously and it wasn't very durable.
This item, however, is excellent. It is very sturdy and has great build quality considering the price. If, like me, you are an ameteur and are not ready to invest in expensive professional gear yet then this is great value for money.
You won't be disappointed.

The price is very reasonable. The legs are adjustable by easy-to-use clips. The full height would suit tall people. The head has the usual tilt and swivel, and is fitted with spirit levels. The low cost shows in the joints of the head, these can be difficult to operate smoothly and silently. I may try some plastic grease on the joints to ease them. Definitely recommendable at the current price.
