This is a well made bag, however it is a couple of inches too short to fit the tripod with the joystick head attached which is really frustrating.

Very nice looking bag and if you have only got a basic tripod head it may just fit in, but, I have an 055CXPRO4 with an 808RC4 head and it won't even look at it otherwise I would have easily give it five stars. I thought the head may just fit in the folded-down position but I would have to take off two of the handles and then I am not sure. Now I will have to find a bag just to hold the head which is a real pain because I didn't want to separate them. Otherwise overall a very nice bag and decent zip (some have commented on forums about it having a poor zip, but it's fine really!) Check out the size first before you buy though and ignore the Manfrotto recommendations.

Good solid monopod, i bought this version because i am 6ft 6" tall and this monopod is plenty long enough, it could do with a rubber pad on the top to prevent marking your camera if used without a ball head but most people will put a ball head on it, quality is worth paying an extra quid or two for!

The Monopod is of solid construction and small enough to carry without getting in the way when walking with a camera shoulder bag and a rucksack on my back.

The rubber grip makes it comfortable to carry by hand and it does not get too cold on winter days.

I fitted it with a Manfrotto Head and the whole thing feels very robust and will take a camera and a very long focus lens without feeling unstable.

A tripod can get heavy when walking long distances so a Monopod or beanbags are the obvious answer and the Monopod gives height adjustment.

All in all a great purchase.

Well, for the money I paid, I wasn't really expecting a carbon fibre tripod, but wasn't expecting shoddy one either. However, I was a bit surprised when I recieved this product. Given the price, it definitely stands above my expectations. It comes in a handy carry case, with a nice little instruction manual. It takes seconds to set up and very easy too. Ideal for travel IMO. WOuld recommend if someone's just getting their first Tripod. Pros would want a better one for sure.

READ THE SPECS!!! Dave R Daveypants is correct. Unless you are a 12 years' old child before the normal growth spurt, or an adult of limited growth you are in for a BIG disappointment. The tripod will only reach to your belly-button fully-extended. Also, a strong wind will blow it away. I swear by Sony goods. My home is full of them, and I have nothing but praise for all my previous Sony products bought through Amazon. But this is a futile purchase. My previous Sony tripod cost £40+ and was stolen, hence this purchase. I should have READ THE SPECS!!

I brought this for my first tripod and find it incredibly easy to use and transport about, ok its not that high but if you want landscape or wildlife pictures its fine. If you use a telescopic lens then to stop the weight being top heavy use the adaptor on the lens to fix it on the tripod to balance it out (instead of the base of the camera). It is extremely lightweight and portable. For people like me just getting into the world of photography as a hobby its excellent for learning and experimenting.

As of the 19/09 i made a purchase for the above product as pictured. I was quite pleased with the internet purchase and price quoted

and was ok with proposed delivery dates. However all of this has gone terribly wrong and i am totally disgusted with both Amazon and the supplier DSzone. As of this date i have still not received the product that i thought i had purchased and been charged for on my credit card, all in good faith and which i am now in the process of disputing with my credit card card company, as to getting my debit charge refunded. However more galling and totally disapointing than all of this is the total lack of customer service from both Amazon and DSzone. As per advise from Amazon and taking instructions from their own website i have sent various emails regarding this sorry issue and as of this date i have not had one single reply from either party as to why i have not received the item i had ordered and been charged for WHY??

I got this because we were shooting in Qatar and needed a very lightweight kit so we didn't exceed the luggage allowance now that even Qatar Airways seems keen on reducing cabin and hold weights. It was fitted to a lightweight Manfrotto carbon fibre tripod and did everything we needed. Smooth and fluid in operation, just right for the Sony video camera we were using. We've reduced our travelling weights dramtically and, although we no longer look as professional, we come home with high quality video for our clients and have far less hassle than we used to. Highly recommended.

I bought a couple of these to go on tripods that are used for travelling as there is a considerable weight saving over the 501HDV head (so saving precious luggage allowances!!). This is a high quality product and I have used it with both HD Camcorders and DSLRs. It works very well with both. Users who want to use it with a DLSR may want to keep in mind that the camera plate locking brake lever may protrude high enough to get in the way and be affected by the camera body. This can be overcome either by moving the included plate forwards or backwards or, if that fails, use one of the longer plates made by Manfrotto (such as the 501PLONG) which will allow the camera to be moved further away from the lever. This may cause some centre of balance issues which users need to also be aware of, but it does at least offer a solution. To be fair to Manfrotto, they do class this as a Video Head and not a Photo head so this type of problem can arise.....but is easy to fix.



This head easily handles all of my lightweight camcorders and lights/microphones plus the DSRs even when long lenses are in use. Highly recommended.

Very well built video head for the serious amateur video aficionado. Heavy and rock solid with butter smooth movements. Its a tad big for ordinary consumer camcorders. Quick release plate is so long that it actually restrict me from changing battery on one of my cams (Pana NV-GS300)Unfortunately the pan drag is quite stiff even on it's loosest setting so one really need to assure that its on a sturdy/heavy tripod. In my case it's a close shot to keep my Manfrotto 055 Pro still to be honest when i pan, specially if you have it set up an a smooth surfaces like tiles, parquet etc. Tilt drag is fine but again very close to be too stiff for consumer camcorders on the loosest setting. Such a shame that there is no way to adjust the pan/tilt drag below its loosest setting and therefore i can only recommend this head for cameras weighing over 1000gr. With a heavier camera i wouldn't hesitate to give it 5*.
