At the heart of this marketing ruse is a deception. You can find the same card at the same price (that is the price including the P and P which is the real price) at your local Morrisons store. I saw one tonight. If enough people stop being fooled by these bogus prices, Amazon will be forced to revise this rip off. Hit them where it counts, in the pocket. That is the only language they understand. One would have thought that a company like Amazon that provides otherwise excellent service would be more upfront and honest about this cheap skate ruse to try and entice customers.

I went to buy two of these cards as the price looked great. When I got to the check out £9 was added for postage so I cancelled. These things weigh hardly anything and will fit in an envelope!! I know handling etc has to be added but that's taking the mickey.

This seems to be about a third of the price that you pay in a high street retailer and it works perfectly. On my Samsung E900 it will store hundreds of 2 meg pictures, or more likely a combination of a couple of hundred mp3 tracks and images. Uploading pics or downloading tracks is really quick using the SD adapter which in my case slips straight into the built in slot in my PC - worth getting a USB card reader if you don't have this facility. This seems quicker than loading through the phones USB connection. Not much else to say really. It's tiny, amazing in its capacity and unbelievable value at this price. It is NICE WHEN THINGS JUST WORK isn't it! 5 stars and highly recommended.

Sadly for the little droid, I managed to get the entire video message from Princess Leia onto this card.

It was also much better quality than recorded onto R2.



From a cinematographic point of view, this turned out a bit dull as everything was sorted straight away without mis-understanding and the other 5 Star Wars films were never made.



The moral - buy this cheap memory card, save yourself & George Lucas a fortune.
